Active Keys

Token Keys and Governance

Jeeteroo ($JEET) maintains two active keys at launch: the Admin Key and the Supply Key. These keys exist to ensure responsible token management during the early stages of the project while providing a clear path to minimize centralized control over time.

  • Admin Key: This key provides the ability to revoke the Supply Key in the future. Its presence is not intended for ongoing control of token parameters, but as a safeguard to finalize governance once the long-term distribution mechanisms are stable.

  • Supply Key: This key is reserved exclusively for burning actions. No new $JEET tokens will ever be created.

The combination of these keys creates a balanced setup:

  • The Supply Key allows for deflationary actions when deemed necessary.

  • The Admin Key ensures that the community and broader ecosystem can move toward a fully transparent, trust-minimized state by eliminating that functionality when appropriate.

Addressing Community Concerns

It is understandable that some community members will raise questions about the presence of keys or the supply structure. This reaction is natural in an ecosystem where many projects lack transparency or misuse control mechanisms. Jeeteroo approaches this differently:

Keys always spark debate, some see active keys as ‘centralized,’ and that’s partly true. But I've seen worse: unchecked foundation power, rug pulls from keyless tokens, and fiat printed into oblivion. Trust matters in this micro-economy; we've earned it and we’re committed to integrity, right up until the Supply Keys are retired.
